Why do people tend to judge people by their appearance even though looks can be deceiving?

I guess it's just a natural thing. Our looks reflect our personality, however. If you see a blond teenage girl surrounded by girl friends, you can assume she's popular. If you see a goth girl, you assume she's a loner and is secretive. And if you see a guy in suspenders and two inch thick glasses... you get the point. I hope I helped! ^_^ That is not very good advice! You shouldn't judge a blonde girl with lots of friends to be popular, she might not have any other friends, and she could be a bully.
