Why are mustaches so in right now?

Hipsters think that mustaches are "ironic", which means that they think when they grow mustaches and look like jerks, they make a commentary against older men who wont cut their mustaches since they really think they look good. Instead the older men ignore the hipsters, since they don't understand their supposed ironic "agenda", older men keep wearing their mustaches, as well as hipsters keep wearing them "ironically". But you never really wear anything ironicallly, would you voluntarily put something on you, which you really don't like? In reality hipsters wear mustaches because they follow other hipsters (unless they wouldn't be hipsters) and after someone first wanted to grow a mustache, he made up an excuse (ironic mustaches) and then everyone followed him.

This kind of quirks of fashion will come and go. They can disappear as fast as they first appeared.
