What type of working conditions would have a direct effect on one's working performance?

It really depends on where you work. You can work in a zoo, which would make you smell like crap all the time. An then there's the old cubicle. This makes you feel claustrophobic because cubicles are so small. They make you want to scream!

Conditions that could affect your performance at work in a positive way would be a supportive employer, being treated like an individual, a clean work environment (especially the rest rooms), sufficient tools to perform your job proper, good training and supervision to do your job efficiently, permission to contribute your ideas and suggestions to improve the process or product, allowance for personal needs and occasional mistakes.

These are the conditions that improve an employees performance; the lack of these reduce performance in direct proportion to the number of them that are absent.
