What does trac off mean on a 2001 Toyota Camry?

Some Camry models have traction control, which allows to improve stability for cars especially on slippery roads. When it's off it means that traction control system is not helping with stabilization of your drive.

In some situations you might have to turn it off, but it does not happen very often.
