Is sum 41 emo

Sum 41 is not an emo band. They are very much mainstream rock. Their lyrics are run of the mill 'unhappy with life' lyrics but they are not emo at all. They have too much of the pop/rock drums beats and choruses. That being said they are still awesome!

I would have to disagree. Have you seen the original cover of their album "In too deep"? The picture is the Words "Sum 41" written in something dark and dripping with a razor sitting at the side. That certainly appears to be emo.
