Are monkeys the smartest animals on earth?

All depends really I mean we used to be them didn't we so I'm sure we have similar thoughts. In fact the higher power humans often question could be an absurd simple as answer as this. It is the monkeys looking down at us humans and saying "look all the dumb ones fell out of the tree." Monkeys are our masters.
