How do you prune hyacinth?

You grow Hyacinths from bulbs you buy in the Autumn. If you want to grow them indoors put them in a pot with the tip of the bulb just showing above the soil. Water the pot and then put it in a cool dark place and leave for a few weeks, this lets the roots grow out, then bring them out into the light and watch them grow. The cooler you grow them the longer they will take to flower but the flowers will last longer. Heat will make them grow quicker but they will be over faster.
