There are two ways you can do this.

Assuming you can get into your computer, you can set it up to automatically reboot in Safe.

1. Press and hold the Windows key + R to execute "Run"

2. Type "MSCONFIG" without quotes, press enter

3. Open the second tab: "Boot"

4. Find the "Boot Options" box (just under the "Advanced" button")

5. Tick the "Safe boot" checkbox

6. Click "Apply", then "OK"

7. Restart Windows 7 as you normally would.

This will automatically start Windows 7 in Safe Mode.

REMEMBER TO GO THROUGH THE ABOVE PROCESS TO

REMOVE THE SAFE BOOT OPTION, ONCE YOU'RE DONE,

OR YOU WILL CONTINUE TO START UP IN SAFE MODE!

The second method is infinitely easier, but it requires

a little bit of precision timing, to pull it it off.

1. Start your computer

2. After the Manufacturer's screen splash, press "F8"

3. Enure you do this before the "Starting Windows" splash comes up.

4. This will bring up the OS's "Boot Options"

5. Select "Safe Mode"

6. If you need internet while in safe, select "Safe Mode with Networking".

Unlike the first method, this will launch the OS in Safe Mode only when

you press F8 to access boot options; when you restart Windows 7, it

will launch normally.

You may need a couple of tries to get your timing right, between the

manufacturer's screen, and the "Starting Windows" splash.
