Which alkaline battery AA and AAA and D and C last the longest?

Consumer reports once stated that the best value battery buy was whatever was cheapest (even generic/no-name brands), because their testing found so little difference between brands.
Duracell because it cost the most. (When it is the most expensive battery the longer it lasts.

That may be true for Enegizer but rayovac is by far the worlds record,
