Any strong narcotic will be helpful in hiding the symptoms but not in treating scoliOSis. Look into epidural steroid injection and/or chiropractic intervention. For some minor scoliOSis (under 35 degrees Cobb angle), acupuncture and massage have been shown to even reduce the angle by about 10 degrees! Of course, everyone would like narcotics, but you cannot be on them forever. They are only given when nothing else works and MDs are very careful before prescribing them.
