What are the Permaculture and traditional farming methods?

Permaculture is a gardening style that attempts to setup a perminent agriculture. A way of designing systems that improve the soil, setup groups of plants that work well together, and provide a yield.

The phrase was coined by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren in the 1970s.
