How can you tell if a 14 bolt Chevrolet differential has a 9.5 ring dimension or a 10.5 without removing the cover to measure them?

The 9.5 is for the semi-floater axles. The 10.5 is for the full floater that you can see the end of the axle where it is held in place by 6 or 8 bolts.
