How can you tell when a tree is really frightened?

Her head will be up, ears perked, and often you will see the whites of her eyes. She will be snorting a lot too. She will be moving quicker than if she were calm, in such a way trying to find her way out be it through you or through a fence, if you don't show her another way out.
