Can pets be bitten by bed bugs?

BedBugs do feed on pets but they do not stay on the pet like other pests such as fleas or ticks.

BedBugs might hitch a ride on a pet from one location to another but they will not stay past dinner. They eat and run.

Keep in mind that bed bugs, unlike fleas, do not prefer pets, as they have a difficult time moving through fur.
