It is generally better if you cover up tattoos because they look unprofessional in uniform. Neck tattoos are almost always frowned upon by employers, particularly in serious businesses. However, some businesses even offer a raise to employees who have the company logo tattooed on them.

Arm tattoos should be fine since they are hard to cover up unless you wear long sleeves, which can be daunting if the work environment is hot.

Offensive or nude tattoos will probably get you fired to protect the reputation of the company.
