How did Cinderpelt know that the ritual of Firestar's nine lives were interrupted?

She knew because she has a link to StarClan and can sense things like that. Also, it was kind of obvious; I mean Firestar could still smell blood, even back in the Mothermouth. I would think Cinderpelt would be able to scent it, too.
