Where is the oil plug on a Honda lawnmower?

On my Honda mower (which is over 20 years old) the drain plug is below the filler tube on the deck. Put the mower up on something and put a pan below the deck to catch the oil. It's not a very tidy method, but it works.

Many Honda lanwnmowers don't have an oil drain plug. Draining the oil involves removing the oil fill cap and tipping the mower on its side in a way that the fill hole is low. Be sure to have your oil catch pan already in place and a few paper towels at the ready. Work on newspaper if you'd like to avoid a mess.
