Yes, Gray Foxes have feelings. I have held a gray fox for a wildlife rescue group for over 14 years. Besides myself, he will only allow one other person to touch him, the neighbor next door. If she drops by for a visit but does not stop by his pen to talk, he will pout and become morose for a time. If I pick him up and give him a hug and scratch his belly he loves it!
