Can Depo-Provera cause discharge and moodiness?

Depo Provera may affect both vaginal discharge and mood. Talk with your heatlh care provider to determine if your change in discharge needs evaluation for possible infection, and talk about options for changing methods if the mood changes are a problem for you. You may find that the mood changes resolve within a few weeks after the first injection, or they may persist.
