Can orangutans catch a cold

Yes they can. There are a species of monkey that live in the mountains of Japan, however, they often use geothermal springs to keep warm.

These monkeys are called Snow Monkeys or Japanese Macaque. They live at latitudes between 41* and 31*north of the equator where temperatures range from 5*F to 73*F. In the winter these monkeys spend time in hot springs.
