Is it true that eating seafood halts the healing of a tattoo?

I have multiple tattoos, after my recent one i was about to eat fish and my friend who also was tattooed said he was informed by the artist not to eat fish. did some research, i ate alot of fish and my tattoo is fine. through research this is just a precaution against people who are alergic to seafood. if your alergic and you eat it there is a greater chance your tattoo will be infected. chilis apparently physicially hurt when they come through your pores and alcohol increases the chance of infection. i drank beer while eating the fish as well and like i said my tat is fine. Better to be safe then sorry so i wouldnt advise getting blackout drunk or eating a bowl of chilis after a tattoo, but a little beer and some fish didnt hurt me. hope this helps.
