How many posts are uploaded onto facebook every second?

In February, 2012 Facebook announced that they were getting 3,000 pictures uploaded every second or more than 250 million every day, and they store each image in 4 sizes, totaling 100 PB (100,000,000 GB) of photos and videos online (sorry no stat for just photos). As of 2010, they were serving a peak of 1.2 million photos per second, which is well short of whatever they're serving now.
