Was Cab calloway Biracial

I cannot say for certain but I suspect so, mainly due to one of his early songs he made about the subject. One of his first songs released in late 1930 was titled "Yaller", which was a derogatory term for light-tone black people. It is a sad song in which he talks about how he felt isolated, not being favored by either race, and falling into a narrow niche in-between.
