What is the habitat of a peacock?

Peafowl are colorful birds found throughout Central Asia and some areas of Africa. The term "peacock" refers to male peafowl birds, while "peahens" are female peafowl. Peacocks are known for their colorful display of tail feathers; they create a fan shape with their tail feathers to impress peahens. Peafowl are ground-dwellers and forage for food underneath trees in the early evening.
