What do you do to get hired at a job?

From what i know. You need to have a resimae, be confident, job applications, know your pay rate and stuff i guess, (be honest, dont lie, being yourself,) for your job interview, then they will call the best people and that had the best interview and if your called up you do another till they find the best person.

I know all this from carreer day and my teacher.
