Baby anoles should be fed once per day. Adults should be fed every other day. Provide as many insects as they can eat in 15 minutes, and remove the leftovers. Insects should be no larger than the space between their eyes, and should be properly supplemented with calcium. (Use vitamin powder once a week, calcium with D3 the rest of the time). UVB light is necessary.
Appropriate feeder insects include 1/4" or smaller crickets, flightless fruit flies, and small wax worms (occasionally).
Green anoles may enjoy Repashy day gecko or crested gecko diet, but brown and bark anoles may ignore it.
