Do beblades evolve

In Beyblade you cant evolve a beyblade there are only single bayblades but the only way you can change them is if you costomize it. To do that you need different parts of different bays then put them together to make a new on. Also in beyblades after a while new bayblades come out so bayblades cant really evolve just different forms e.g Storm Pegesus and Cyber Pegesus.
