Who accomplished the longest hula hoop record?

Robert Gary Josephberg from Yonkers , NY (School 28) at the young age of 7 ,in 1957 performed in front of hundreds of people and did it 10,500 times. This was the world record at the time for any age . It was done at the John Wanamakers Department Store in Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers , NY . It was recorded and documented by all the TV stations and newspapers including the Daily Mirror in NYC. Needless to say, all the local newspapers and NYC newspapers carried this story. This was done when the Hula Hoop craze was it.
