Normally, urination occurs between four and eight times daily. Aside from pregnancy and urinary tract infection, frequent urination can be a symptom of having Diabetes or pre-Diabetes, consuming diuretics, or having an overactive bladder.
Check to see if you are consuming any type of diuretic. A diuretic is something which causes you to have to urinate more frequently. Some medications are designed to be diuretics and are often prescribed to those suffering from water-retention. Other medications may have a diuretic effect as a side-effect, so check your medicine labels and ask your doctor. Things you may consume on a daily basis may also have diuretic qualities.
