How long does rum keep?

While I can not give you an exact time, as there are MANY MANY variables involved such as quantity, temperature it's stored in, type of container it's stored in, etc. I would say quite a few years if not several decades(depending on if the seals have been broken). This is namely due to the fact that very few bacteria can survive in an alcohol rich environment.
