No, I don't believe so. The 'experts' say that it is not possible to target weight loss areas and it isn't healthy at all to eat only one meal a day. If you only eat once a day your metabolism slows down because your body is trying to conserve energy, actually it goes into survival mode because it thinks something really bad is happening because there's not enough food. This doesn't help you lose weight, the best way is to eat smaller portions, more frequently, lots and lots of water and take a walk. It takes time though, losing a pound a week is a bummer but more likely to stay off than if you dump 5 in a week.
