What different between the old car and new car?

materials they are made out of (2000 cars have more plastic)

changes for new due to restrictions on :

1)safety (shoulder belts in addition to lap belts, airbags, ABS, ect....)

2)economy ( emissions, fuel efficiency)

also newer cars are made more "ergonomically" to cater to the driver (more comfort driven)
