What if your red knee tarantulas abdomen turned black overnight should you be worried?

. We just noticed the same on our Tarantula (red knee). Overnight the top of the ab where there has been hair missing for about a year now has turned very dark. When did you post this and has anything bad happened as related to the darkening of the abdominal area? The date of thisosting is 05/23/2012
