Golf Cart lift kits come in many brands, sizes, and types. For example a 5 inch Jakes brand axle lift on a 2000 E-Z-Go TXT brand Electric cart will have no problem for 22 inch (22x11.00x10) tires on 10 inch (offset) rims. The front tie rod will still be about 3-4 inches from the ground but it still looks good. To rid yourself of the tie rod issue, you can spend more money and go to a spindle type lift kit that makes the cart look more like a moto cross type four wheeler. Note the front axil & tie rod will be removed and replaced by two spindles. The only thing a lift kit can do for a golf cart is increase ground clearance. Lift kits make the carts look beefy but they are not there yet. The stock springs on the above cart (2000 E-Z-Go TXT) would still only be able to have a total carry weight not to exceed 800 pounds (including driver and rider). Lifted carts normally require new tires, wheels, controller, and motor (optional)
