Why do Scorpios think love and sex are the same thing?

If you believe in Astrology, it's just their personality. They like incorporating similar elements and thinking of them as the same thing. (Ex. thinking that poison ivy and poison oak are the same thing.) Love and sex are both related to eventual reproduction, so they just group that.
