I live in Australia and I visit my Rheumatologist every 6 months at a cost of au$130.00. I get about au$65.00 of that back when I present my receipt to medicare (state health). For your first visit you will also have to have a comprehensive set of x-rays and blood test done, In Australia the cost of these are also covered by the state. To see a specialist you have to be referred by a general practitioner and a refer all lasts for 1 year the cost of this is also covered by medicare.
