Many insects are wingless or have lost the ability to fly. Common examples include ants, termites, and certain beetles. Some species of aphids and cockroaches also have non-flying forms, often due to evolutionary adaptations to their environments. Additionally, many larvae or nymph stages of insects, like caterpillars and mayfly nymphs, do not have wings and cannot fly.
