Carol Drinkwater had an affair with a then married Chritopher Timothy during the show yrs and when asked to return to to the 4 th season of the show chose not to due to there breakup and the tabloids writing stories on the affair.They were not on good terms after 1985. She now lives in France on an olive farm and is a well known writer and actress.
