No, the iphone4 is absolutely NOT a 4G phone. There is the iphone3g, the iphone4, and the iphone4s. Names aside, these are ALL 3G phones and cannot be used on the 4G networks. You will get 3G speed. If you want 4G, don't go iphone. A 4G iphone is rumored, but just that - rumored. It has not been released yet. I work in phone sales and countless people asked for the iphone5, which did not exist at that time. It still doesn't. The current newest iphone model is the iphone4s, and it is a 3G phone.
