The Batboy written by Mike Lupica is the story of young 14 years old boy called Brian Dudley, who has every young ballgame fans dream job for the summer, working as the Batboy for his hometowns major league team the Detroit Tigers. Not just that, Brian's hero, a player named Hank Bishop is returning after serving a 50 game suspension over a steroid scandal meant his career was almost over. Bishop could make this a spectacular comeback by hitting his 500th home run, that would guarantee him a place in the Hall of Fame.
