Why do hunters want rhino horns?

A rhino's horn is very valuable because they are used to make daggers and are made of keratin. Keratin is found in hair and is rich in minerals and calcium so it is hard wearing and durable. It is illegal to hunt a rhino for their horns because they are an endangered species.
