Is it safe to take a Lorazepam with morphine?

I have a traumatic brain injury '86 but am still a rookie at this. Many prescriptions are available to me. My question is not wanting to become addicted and still sleep peacefully is can valium and norco be combined? My tolerance is out of control it's so high. My beau of 15 yrs. killed himself because of pain & addiction. Please help me.
