What can i do to prevent tantrums because i said no to my three year old child and once he starts screaming and throwing things around what can i do to get him to calm down and talk to him?

Give them a timeout. Follow through with your threats of punishment. If you said you would turn the car around if they behave a certain way, do it. They are taking mental notes and learning future behavior. Set a good example now.
