Whats a better way to catch a Pikachu on firered or leafgreen?

The best way I have found is to go to the Power Planet and search for one. They pop up all over the place and all you have to do is wear it down until it's weak enough to be caught.

If You Want One Right Away Go To Viridian Forest. They Have Pikachus , You May Have To Look A Little Bit , But They're Easy To Catch And Usualy Only From Lvl 5-15. Or If Your A Little While Into The Game , And Dont Really Want To Train It That Much Go To The Power Plant They Have Them Everywhere And They Usually Range From Lvl 30-40
