If you pull up on the top rear part of the console it gives you access to the adjustment. Pretty self explanatory once you see it. You'll need a deep socket and rachet. Sorry, it's been a while since I did mine so I can't tell you the size. I think 10mm but not sure. I've adjusted mine several times and have to say that Chevy dropped the ball on this setup. Mine still won't hold on much of a hill even in gear.
