What are the uses of a rex rabbit?

Standard Rex rabbits are most commonly used as a pet or show rabbit. Because of their size, they can also be used for meat. They can be used for fur production, but because of the difficulty of obtaining large amounts of fur as compared to other breeds, they aren't used as commonly for this purpose.
