Where are more than half of the worlds cases of HIV?

More than half of the world's cases of HIV are concentrated in sub-Saharan Africa. This region accounts for a significant percentage of both global HIV infections and AIDS-related deaths. Factors contributing to the high prevalence include limited access to healthcare, social stigma, and socioeconomic challenges. Additionally, specific populations, such as key populations and young women, are disproportionately affected in this region.
