The Muscogee (Creek) Nation shared their home with several tribes, most notably the Seminole tribe. Both groups inhabited areas in the southeastern United States, particularly in what is now Georgia and Alabama, and later in Florida. The two tribes had cultural and social interactions, especially during the early 19th century. Additionally, other tribes, such as the Hitchiti and Alabama, also lived in proximity to the Creeks.
