Actually no it's not OK for nipple piercings on females to extend past the nipple and into the areola. Your experienced and trained professional body piercer would know this. The structure of the female breast is a complex dynamic of surface tissue, connective tissue, ducts, glands and other structures. Inexperienced can lead to damaged milk ducts and other issues not readily noticed at the time the piercing is done. Don't just see any body claiming to be a professional piercer, check for business license, health inspection reports and past client feed back before submitting to a piercing.
