How do fire ants travel?

Fire ants travel primarily by walking, using their legs to navigate their environment. They can also form rafts by clinging to each other when encountering floods, allowing them to float and move across water. Additionally, they may disperse to new locations through a process called nuptial flights, where winged males and queens take to the air to mate and establish new colonies.
